    I joined SolidWorks when Dassault Systèmes acquired my company Priware, initially taking the role of Development Manager for CircuitWorks and CircuitWorks Lite, with the task of overseeing the integration of both products fully into SolidWorks.I later took over responsibility for the development and delivery of all SolidWorks’ Electrical and Routing related products, including CircuitWorks, CircuitWorks Lite, SolidWorks Electrical, SolidWorks Routing, Tubing and Piping products. Some of these products were developed in-house, some remotely, and others by third party suppliers.I also worked extensively on SolidWorks’ future ECAD-MCAD product strategy, liaising with ECAD partners such as Mentor Graphics, Cadence and Zuken to ensure SolidWorks remained at the forefront of developments in ECAD. I was also involved with the development of the ProSTEP iViP EDMD format for ECAD-MCAD interchange.Out of the office I presented on ECAD-MCAD Collaboration to CAD users and resellers at user group meetings and trade shows such as SolidWorks World and the Dassault European Customer Forum.

    Priware was set up by myself and a colleague to take over the development, sales and marketing of CircuitWorks; a SolidWorks Partner Product that had previously been distributed by Zeal Solutions.My roles included the day to day management of the business, software and web development (in VB.net, ASPX & C#), sales presentations, marketing, training, administration and technical support.In four years Priware took CircuitWorks from a simple program originally developed for a single customer into a major SolidWorks Gold Partner Product in use by over a 1000 customers worldwide including some of the world’s largest companies.Originally designed just as a product for SolidWorks, a new version of CircuitWorks for SpaceClaim became one of the first SpaceClaim Partner Products in May 2007.Priware was sold to Dassault Systèmes (the owners of SolidWorks Corporation) in early 2008.

I also developed in-house utilities such as automated design of packaging change parts, batch printing and other tools using Visual Basic.
