This position included working with all departments. I was responsible for PrePress, Production, Finishing and Maintenance, having ten department managers and supervisors report to me. Worked with production scheduling each day helping to ensure we had the most efficient opportunities at hand to meet deliveries in a timely manner.Worked with the Maintenance department to ensure monthly preventative maintenance days were scheduled and a list of items were ready for completion. Also ensured planned maintenance was scheduled for line changeover. Held regular manager/supervisor meetings sharing information and understanding any opportunities for improvement.Held regular one on one meetings with direct reports ensuring we were all in line with company policies and direction, at the same time understanding the challenges of the front line leaders.
