Rob founded Gravel Executive Resources Consulting in 2013 as a natural extension of his expertise and passion for developing results-driven leaders. Rob has focused his career on becoming a leading expert in many different facets of multiple industries (hospitality, construction, consulting, human resources), to help organizations become more successful in driving performance and leading/motivating teams. He has successfully applied his skills in organizations inside and outside of the hospitality industry and turning around companies in distress. Rob is the former COO/CEO of Infuse Hospitality. As COO and CEO for Infuse Hospitality, his assignment was turning around and preparing the company for sustainable growth. He stabilized and improved existing business performance, and built the processes, systems, teams, and capabilities to prepare the company for rapid growth. As the former Chief of Staff/Operating Officer and Board Member for Punch Bowl Social; a “best-in-class” experiential restaurant concept founded in 2012. He has served the Company in the capacities of Chief Administrative Officer, Chief People Officer, Operations Strategy Officer and prior to his last appointment, President of Organizational Development. Rob was previously the Chief of Staff, Chief People Officer and Compliance Officer for Ruby Tuesday, an international restaurant chain with over 700 locations and 40,000 Team members.Over the span of his career, Rob has held several Restaurant Operations leadership positions and executive leadership roles in the areas of Human Resources, Training, Legal, Finance, Information Technology, New Concept Integration, and International Franchise Development. Rob also served the Compensation and Nominating/Governance committees to the Board of Directors for Ruby Tuesday for over 12 years and has served as a member on several private boards. Rob served as a Director on the Boards of PBS HoldCo, PBS Inc, and PBS BrandCo until May of 2021.

Rob served as Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer and Compliance Officer for Ruby Tuesday, Inc., until November of 2013. Rob was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, Information Technology, Training, Benefits and Risk Management. Rob also served as Chief Of Staff for the executive team. Additional areas of responsibility included crisis management, planning processes, and serving the Board’s Executive Compensation and Governance Committees. He was also responsible for integration of acquired/licensed concepts and companywide cost reduction efforts.
