As the Operations Manager for Global Unmanned Systems (GUS) I am focused on managing and facilitating the day to day activities of the business as well as building strong relationships and alliances with complementary businesses and consultants. I am a qualified Geologist and with my scientific background ensures that GUS is tailoring its services to meet our client’s needs and providing valuable scientific data. I am driven to educate businesses in the application of UAV’s to the resources industry and developing and implementing strategies for data acquisition and ongoing monitoring. I am a purpose-driven, lateral thinker and strive to provide solutions to client problems.I have worked across a number of industries including the mining, oil & gas, forestry, natural resource management, industrial asset inspection and cultural resource management sectors. My previous work, as an Exploration Geologist, meant consulting to junior to mid-tier resource companies, primarily in nickel, copper, zinc, gold and iron ore. At the core of a small exploration team, we successfully planned and implemented a program that doubled the down-plunge extent of the Ayshia Copper-Zinc resource.
