As the DoT&C at UCFB Group, I am ultimately accountable for the delivery and maintenance of all technology solutions and change projects. Providing centralised change management expertise to all business units in portfolio planning and delivery. Supporting business areas in project identification and scoping, producing robust business cases and associated budget requests, agreeing change prioritisation, leading to project delivery and operational acceptance of change.Project Management Office (PMO).Support the project management community in the controlled delivery of the change portfolio. Principally focusing on the design, implementations and continuous improvement of our Project Management Methodology and supporting the project management resources in navigating through this methodology to ensure essential products and controls are implemented consistently without acting as an unnecessary drag on project delivery. Business Architecture & Solution Design.Establishing a centre of excellence for solution design and requirement definition. Including the production and maintenance of the organisations operating models and process definitions and utilising these artefacts and standards to accelerates project delivery and reduce the cost of change by eliminating the need to “discover” the as-is through the provision of widely understood reference model(s) on which to design/plan changes.Change Governance & Control.Chair the organisations Portfolio Governance Committee whose responsibility is to ensure the change budget is invested efficiently and that projects commissioned have robust business cases and support the strategic goals of the organisations. Ultimately acting as a forum to oversee delivery performance against agreed scope, time and cost parameters.
