This position is for students who assist the Office of Admissions for the University. Responsibilities include answering the University telephones in the response center, scheduling meetings between prospective students and Admission Counselors, assembling mailing packets for prospective students, and providing a good first impression of Saint Cloud State.

This position took place during the University's Advising and Registration Days, where incoming first years would sign up for classes and put together their schedules. My position had a number of responsibilities including signing in the attendees for the day, giving academic presentations, and assisting in registration for courses.

Fort Dodge, Iowa

This position was a summer internship for the City of Fort Dodge. I worked directly under the City Manager's office. Responsibilities included drafting press releases, setting up communications between the City and other offices, and multiple communications projects. One of the central projects of the internship entailed proofreading and editing the script.
