I'm a passionate advocate for the use of evidence and learning to improve social impact and have spent the past two decades advising and supporting governments, foundations, NGOs and global alliance on how best to do this. I'm fortunate to be able to pursue this passion day in and day out in my role as Managing Partner of Itad, a global consulting company that supports clients to use evidence to make better decisions and improve their social, economic and environmental impact. Previously, I worked at Bond, where I led an initiative that brought together 320 UK development NGOs, and their major funders, to develop sector wide approaches and tools to measure performance and impact, and the One World Trust, where I led the Global Accountability Project, that convened stakeholders from NGOs, corporates and multilaterals, to agree cross sector principles of accountability and transparency.
