I have extensive experience operating vehicles, aircraft and marine vessels for long periods of time, for which my comprehensive understanding of navigation and ability to interpret signals is imperative to zero-harm safety. Combined with my knowledge and training in aviation/private pilot studies, I have formed a strong commitment to the safety of all passengers and co-workers.I also have excellent customer service and communication skills, developed through my experience with several of Melbourne’s leading construction/renovation companies, for which communicating with clients and colleagues throughout every stage of a project, and on a daily basis, is a top priority. As lead tiler of RJL Tiling, my day-to-day tasks included monitoring the safety of all construction activities, working with on-site personnel to exceed zero-harm safety parameters, and inspecting work sites to effectively problem solve any and all issues that may arise, with an analytical approach. I relied heavily on my exceptional written and verbal skills when preparing renovation quotes, using modern software and drafting technical write-ups for proposals and projects to be used in formal presentation. My comprehensive understanding of policies and procedures, allows me to adhere to them with confidence, and ensure that staff and colleagues are well informed.I enjoy being part of a wider team, whilst also independently leading supervision and education of apprentice associates, ensuring they adhere to RJL Tiling’s punctuality and presentation standards. I have always been available to work rotating shift rosters outside normal working hours, including weekends and on public holidays.I feel comfortable working within a fast-paced environment and am able to reliably produce high-quality results under pressure and within strict time parameters. Most importantly, I believe fairness and equality are a solid basis upon which a strong team culture can thrive.
