About Rob L.

I founded LaunchEngine to put our stamp on property management technology; driving efficiency and scalability to PM teams in a software stack that minimizes limitations. Client-first, software second. After years of integrating on different platforms, we found that monday.com provided us the best format to innovate with, and allowed PMs to run ALL of their business verticals on one platform. We went deep on process automation, 2-way integrations to PM software, and custom reporting. The result has been compounding, and we're slowly sharing where we're headed.I believe in quality over quantity in business. Internally I build talented and flexible teams, helping them set goals and remove barriers for them to achieve autonomy. Externally we drive real data-driven success with our clients, maximizing their ROI through our rapidly evolving services. We look to build long lasting relationships in all directions; everyone wins.I love the culture of the Property Management industry and the Broker/Owners behind them. We all have families at home, strive to do meaningful work, and aim to get more time back.

  • Infinitum
    Program Manager - Continuous Improvement
    Infinitum Mar 2020 - Dec 2023
    Round Rock, Texas, Us
I started with Infinitum as a Process Engineer with a blank slate of a warehouse, no supply chain roadmap, and very little understanding of electric motors. Our goal was to take the IES series motor to production. In the early days I spent a lot of time studying ISO 9001, configuration management, and learned the constraints we faced with operationalizing the business. I worked across departments to implement business transactions in the ERP and with the engineering teams to get the BOM configuration to match our ever-changing assembly plan with co-manufacturers. At one point I was managing the BOM in spreadsheets with a premature ECO process for multiple prototype products . Over time we built a team around these proof-of-concept processes that I developed for many of the main business functions of the business. As the business grew I became the process and business application guy and documented / trained to eliminate as much tribal knowledge as possible in every direction. The one constant I faced was a never-ending need for a new process in a new department and new software for a new business function. So it became a necessity to develop and implement new tools in the business rapidly. I learned how to begin templating this approach so we could do this more effectively. Then I transitioned to build the PMO in the organization so the business could get on track of the numerous products in development and create order across the organization. In that time I learned the intricacies of the New Product Development and Program Management, and how to build systems that self-manage. One thing I got hooked on at this time was Roll Up / Down OKRs, and connecting the business goals from the top down to the tasks the teams were working on. This was huge for my inspiration for all of my systems.
