After almost 25 years in data and marketing and a successful sale of Edit to private equity, in late 2022 I decided to take a break from the agency world to spend more time with my family and to focus on investing in startups in the areas of my expertise: data, analytics and marketing. I have over a decade of experience of working on or leading a board. Experience of the good and bad in mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, rebranding, repositioning and restructures and ultimately preparing and successfully taking a business from PLC ownership in to private hands. From a practical standpoint, my focus has typically been around: Marketing planning, first party data, loyalty and insight strategy, data insight and analytics marketing technology, insight driven marketing and CRM focussed communications planning and execution.I believe in servant leadership, the value of teamwork and the importance of sharing success.
