Rob is experienced in workplace strategy, project planning and management, customer engagement and portfolio planning for corporate real estate with a demonstrated history of achieving innovative cross organizational change and implementing future workplace strategies. In 2022/23, Rob was the lead on the creation of the Hybrid Workplace Strategy, the Government of BC's corporate approach to the future workplace. A key pillar of the government’s new strategy is ShareSpace, the BC Public Service's corporate co-working model developed by Rob and his Workplace Strategies + Planning team and rolled out in 2020. His team are the creators the book 'Blueprint: Transforming Office Space Design in BC's Public Service' and the innovative planning calculator tool Blueprint+. Rob has spoken on workplace planning and program implementation at IMFA's Facility Fusion, RICS Summit Series: Americas, Pure-NET's webinars on Office Hubs and Hybrid Workplace, SFT's New Frontiers for Smarter Working, as well as been featured in publications in North America and Europe.Rob has held corporate real estate roles leading strategic portfolio planning, workplace design, customer service and project management for tenant improvements to leasehold and owned facilities and the asset management of the provinces owned building portfolio. Additional responsibilities and experience have been in the areas of leasing services, health and wellness, diversity and inclusion, corporate sustainability, environmental stewardship and risk management.Rob has over the past decade provided best practice advice and coaching to other governments and agencies who are undertaking strategic portfolio planning or workplace planning and transformation initiatives.
