A career spanning Technical and Strategic IT Architecture, as well as Senior Leadership roles have uniquely prepared myself and my company to plan and deliver your next digital transformation. Over 14 years of industry experience has taught me nothing if not that people skills are as important as technical skills. I rely on my extensive network of peers and employees to help me deliver outstanding outcomes. I personally find it easy to evaluate and visualise complex solutions, and my information modelling ability is something that sets me apart, but the real key for me to drive tangible change has been getting others onside in the pursuit of these solutions. Stakeholder engagement, then, is something I consider a real strength. Having worked in one of the most complex organisations in Australia, it’s certainly something I’ve had to get good at; working with Director and Executive level professionals to help them engage with their data, and build a roadmap that drives the nost benefit from the opportunities available. It’s about being able to translate abstract concepts, but it’s also about tact. Developing and delivering high-level IT strategy means balancing competing demands with limited resources; holistic business requirements with business unit requirements. Sometime even more important then then solution, is that it is delivered the right way.I'm valued for my ability to visualise complex problems, and yet, make them accessible and understood by a variety of stakeholders. My co-workers appreciate my openness, and willingness to confront a problem, and attack it from different angles. In my spare time, I love to travel, and I'm never happier then waist deep in Japan powder.I’m an active networker, so please do send me a connection request if you’d like to connect.
