I lead the team at Johnnie Walker Princes Street, we opened our doors to the public on 6th September 2021 and in February 2022 I took on the role of Head of Johnnie Walker Princes Street. A true privilege to work with such a talented & diverse team, We have since gone on to receive numerous awards included Visit Scotland 5 Star Rating which recognises exceptional standards in visitor experience & hospitality, and we also picked up the Icons of Whisky World Whisky Attraction of the year award within our first year. Having trained in International Business and Hotel Management, I worked in Hotels & hospitality in Ireland, Switzerland, Seychelles and Australia. This gave me the experience and expertise in operational organisation and management along with the consumer focus that has helped me to easily transition into the brand experience side of the spirits industry. I joined Pernod Ricard in 2013 with Jameson, the worlds number 1 selling Irish Whiskey. Specialising in operations, I started as a Duty Manager, and moved onto Restaurant & Banqueting Manager, and then taking on the role of Resource Manager in January 2016. Primary duties here include recruitment, headcount management, operations planning & management, and labour budget management. I was part of the amazing project team that reopened the Jameson Distillery Bow St after an €11 million investment, and went on to win numerous global awards in the industry.During my time with Jameson, I completed a fixed purpose contract to another Pernod Ricard company, The Absolut Company. Absolut have opened their first Brand Home in Åhus, Sweden. I joined their project team on this incredibly exciting, history making project to apply my expertise on all operational aspects to ensure they were set up with all required systems, processes, procedures and personnel that were required for opening day.In February 2020 I joined Diageo as Head of Experience for Johnnie Walker Princes Street, the world’s most popular global whisky brand. The Johnnie Walker Princes Street visitor experience is the focal point of a £185 million investment in Scotch whisky tourism. This is the biggest single investment programme ever seen in the whisky tourism sector, drawing people from the four corners of the globe to Scotland and to give them an unforgettable experience in Scotch whisky.
