I am determined to excel at and deliver excellence in everything that I do. This value was instilled in me from a young age by my father with whom I served alongside when I joined the Army. I emulated my father’s work ethic, leadership style, and resilient mentality while working my way up to becoming an NCO, a Warrant Officer, and ultimately a UH-60 Blackhawk Pilot. While these experiences pushed me to the limit both physically and mentally, the military taught me valuable lessons in overcoming resistance, and provided me with a great sense of tactical fulfillment in creating strategic action plans that solved problems, streamlined processes, and delivered optimal outcomes.Following my entrance into the civilian job sector, I applied these lessons and continued my trend of success in advancing to higher levels of management and leadership—reflected by promotions to Transportation Manager, Safety Manager, and General Manager—from the ground level.
