I curated a data warehouse roughly conforming to the Universal Data Model for Healthcare (UDMH) using Spark, Databricks, Python and SQL on Azure. We modeled data from Epic, Workday, and a wide variety of ancillary systems.

I provided full-stack development of web-based applications related to medical education using .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Bootstrap, jQuery, MySQL and MongoDB.

I served in two roles between 2009 and 2015: - I performed application support for revenue cycle related functions such as insurance management and charge capture. I developed custom applications using .NET Framework, jQuery, Sharepoint, Powershell and others. I also developed interfaces and worked with vendors to move data between systems which included a little HL7 work. - I analyzed Epic schedules and appointment data to help identify barriers in patient access to physicians. In this role I did a lot of reporting and data visualization using both a custom website (Classic ASP, ASP.NET Webforms, SQL Server) and off the shelf tools like Tableau server. I worked closely with a scheduling call center to corroborate findings and presented information to both clinic and enterprise leadership.

I designed and implemented diagnostic software for large vehicle manufacturers using primarily Microsoft development tools such as Visual C++, C#, and Visual Basic and supporting Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. I served as Technical Lead for one of the company's largest clients.

I assisted with requirements, design, estimates, and implementation of software for classroom and enterprise projects using Visual C#, Visual Basic .NET, Visual C++ and Visual Basic 6 programming for Windows 98, 2000, XP and Windows Mobile / Windows CE. I managed a couple of student programmers per semester. I also maintained a high level of support for management including evaluation of technologies to support long term planning.

I managed a portion of the campus server infrastructure including Windows, AIX and Linux servers running Blackboard, Lotus Notes, Websphere, IIS, Apache, and others.
