Global Product Manager

Responsible for power tool batteries and chargers sold at Home Depot.As the Director of Product Development I was responsible for:- The development of new products through cross-functional team leadership- Working internationally to champion new products across different global markets- Developing sales presentations and partnering with sales team on product pitches- Achieving cost targets while delivering compelling feature sets for the end user- Developing high impact marketing material with marketing communications team- Overseeing research projects of over 300 consumers- Ensuring consistent brand proposition is maintained through active brand management

Responsible for the 18V cordless line of RIDGID Power Tools sold at Home Depot. As the Sr. PM I was responsible for:- Leading development through the phase gate process from idea creation to product launch- Delivering innovative products while hitting aggressive cost targets- Executing market research projects uncovering unmet customer needs- Working with international manufacturing teams to deliver products on time and on cost

As the Product Manager of RIDGID power tools I led the development of electric and cordless power tools. During this time I spent 4 months living in Hong Kong and regularly traveled into China to work with our manufacturing teams. The responsibilities of this position included:- I led the development of products through the phase gate process- Championed cost savings idea on electric tool line that resulted in $100K+ cost savings- Partnered with creative team developing high impact marketing material, POP, and packaging- Responsible for user research to uncover unmet consumer needs

As the Assistant Product Manager I supported the Product Manager in the development of electric power tools. This position included the following responsibilities:- Developed market landscapes and made recommendations based on those landscapes- Prepared RFQ's and other sales pertinent information for product proposals- Worked with creative team in the development of packaging and other merchandising aspects

TTI Leadership Development Program with a focus on sales training, negotiation, presentation skills and product training. As the Sales Representative I was responsible for a territory of 12 stores delivering double digit sales growth.
