Hb Robinson Nuclear Plant

Integrated supplier for Progress Energy (Duke Energy) on site @ HB Robinson Nuclear Power Plant in Hartsville, SC. Currently hold a contractor badge and have completed all FFD & Radiation worker training to access the restricted area at the plant. I also have access to their Passport computer system. Duties include supporting Progress Energy by maintaining and stocking appropriate MRO parts, materials, and supplies are provided to internal customers using the best cost management practices while maintaining favorable supplier relationships.Work with internal customers to determine material requirements.Make purchases and follow up with suppliers on the status of orders, expedite if necessary.Ensure quality, quantity, and on-time delivery of materials meets or exceeds requirements.Ensure proper inventory control of the MRO Stores areas.Enter and maintain transaction and measurement data timely and accurately using asset management system software.Provide recommendations for the development of buying strategies, product and value research, and analysis as needed by the plant.

Hartsville, South Carolina

Responsible for the ongoing procurement and negotiations of materials, components, equipment, supplies and services that meet the quality, cost, and delivery goals of the company. Performs cost analysis work requiring a high level of specific knowledge of various production processes and tooling development. Assisted with selection of suppliers and maintenance of Bill of Materials (BOM) in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain evaluations of supplier capabilities and current supplier performances while managing projects and supplier relations. Performed monthly inventory and spot cycle counts to maintain and correct any inventory discrepancies. Attended meetings with buying group to evaluate vendors for upcoming contracts. Responsible for over 90% of all purchases where I was assisting in the management of eight employees with Purchasing Manager. Other duties include doing monthly and spot safety inspections that included keeping safety records of inspections and that all MSDS Sheets are current and up to date.
