    EVolocity is a charitable organisation. We run a project based learning competition for high schools in which they design, build and compete in electric vehicles using a supplied componentry kit. We also run NZ's only electric vehicle festival - an annual event featuring electric motorsports, demonstrations, test drives and workshops, exhibits, and the finals of the high school competition. It's all about stimulating innovation in electric vehicles and smart transport; developing and encouraging skills in electric vehicles and associated technology; attracting young people to careers and further education in science, technology, engineering and mathematics; and educating the public on the benefits of electric vehicles for the environment, health and the economy while dispelling myths around the performance capacities of electric vehicles.
