CurrentOperations Acceptance Team Lead for V.Me payment platformsWorking on a new digital Wallet for VISA. My role is to accept new components and software into a pre-production Environment as the last Quality Gate before Live deployment. Testing is mainly non functional technical testing which involves analysing the impact of changes to production and testing to confirm that any issues would have a technical resolution. Leading a team of 4 Test Engineers, my main responsibilities are :1. Analysing Change Requests and creating Non-functional test conditions to cover activities such as Operational Procedures, Correct alerting for when components or processes go down, Failover testing, Startup scripts, negative test scenarios, Backup, Batch job testing on a mixture of Linux, Windows, AIX and DB2 servers2. Liaising with external suppliers (IBM, Endava, RSA) to understand Non functional requirements 3. Scheduling test activities and arranging 3rd party test support resources4. Creating test documentation such as Test Approaches/Plans, Exit reports, Test status reports5. Coordinating testing by various teams on the QA Environment (Security testing, Functional testing, Service Integration Testing)6. Providing a production support environment to debug issues found in Live Environment7. Scheduling and supporting architecture upgrades testing
