Profile bio

About Rob Mcgee

My leadership style is guided by the words of 1952 Nobel Prize Laureate Albert Schweitzer who stated, “Example is not the main method of influence. It is the only method of influence.” Likewise, I’m a big proponent that you create your life and that it does not just happen because of a degree from a university or college per say. I pride myself on my professionalism – respect for self and for others, dependable, cooperative and problem solving perseverance. I listen well, and confirm my understanding by clarifying and confirming and saying “makes sense”. I think beyond the moment and try to anticipate the future to help prevent minor, manageable problem from turning into major issues.Additionally, I started with a small company which afforded me opportunities to take on responsibilities beyond my job description and work closely with high-level people. I have many years of successful management experiences with various corporations (ADP, UPS, The Home Depot, and LexisNexis), At LexisNexis I accepted additional responsibilities to lead varies technology teams, focused on objectives such as productivity related decisions, determining the right onsite-offsite leverage of resource allocations and effectively promoting continuous improvement in processes and procedures. These responsibilities helped me to develop more fully my skill matrix (I learn more about who I am as a leader).Years later I accepted new challenges to lead additional teams and projects. This opportunity gave me a preview into my readiness for the next level of management. I completed my MBA, several leadership classes and completed my Security + Certification and HPCC training. My MBA has helped my overall understanding of business, such as how business decisions can impact product quality, which in this current role should serve me well. Through my business experiences , my enhanced information security and cyber technology I have the skills to lead R&D team’s principle objective to deliver quality products and solutions in the most efficient available manner and to provide high-margin value-added products while keeping costs low. I am able to provide visibility to emerging trends, technology and enterprises that excel in Information and share best-practices and competencies development.
