Continued my career in the Navy Reserve after leaving Active Duty in 2002. I have held a variety of operations, maintenance management, and safety jobs and flew FA-18 Hornets in Operation Iraqi Freedom from the deck of the USS Theodore Roosevelt in 2003. I transitioned to the F-5 Tiger II as a Fleet Adversary Pilot based in Key West, Florida where I had the privilege of commanding Composite Fighter Squadron 111. I have since worked in the Maritime Partnership Program, supporting 6th Fleet Mil to Mil relations with coastal African Nations, and supporting Mil to Mil relations in the Baltic Sea region. I finished my career as a Navy Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer at FEMA Region VIII working with the Defense Coordinating Officer on emergency management and Title 10 DoD engagement in Defense Support of Civil Authorities.

Lockheed Martin Aerospace, Fort Worth, Tx

Used Navy FA-18 Strike Fighter experience and Top Gun expertise to aid Lockheed Martin engineers in the development of the new F-35 Lightening II Strike Fighter. Contributed to a wide range of projects from expected lifetime usage projections of the airframe, to helmet mounted sight, night vision, thermodynamics challenges, and many other operational and tactical capabilities.

After graduating from USNA, and completing Navy flight training, I became an F/A 18 Strike Fighter Pilot. I graduated from Top Gun in 1998 and my second tour of duty was at Strike Fighter Weapons School Pacific as a Tactics Instructor.
