Making things happen is what drives me. I like complex challenges, making a sound analysis of the situation, developing possible scenarios, making the choice and rallying the team behind the plan and executing it together. In my current role as CEO of Invertr Investments all my international experience in building materials come to play to manage a portfolio of cleantech start-/scale-ups. The biggest challenge is this role is making the decisions of invest, divest or stop. In the past I have been leading multiple industrial business units and projects of business development, innovation, restructuring and M&A. Originally from a marketing & sales background I have developed by education and experience to an all-round general management profile specialized in change. I am a team (former baseball) player, people oriented and strongly believe in the value of involving team members in the analysis, the plan and execution. My mentality is hands-on and “don’t give up’. After 35 years of work and life experience, my main mission now is to help others to become better at what they do and work on meaningful projects that can make a difference .
