First book, The Last Natural (paperback: Phenom), about the 2010 jr college season that launched Bryce Harper to fame and fortune, came out in 2012 -- Phenom came out as The Kid started his second season in March 2013. Next one? Likely out mid-Sept 2014 ... more soon ...

Mainly wrote about UNLV basketball, but scribed features and stories about many other subjects and topics.

Covered national college basketball and soccer, and wrote columns from major events in the Southwest.

Covered UCLA basketball and football, and wrote game stories and features on and about other Southern California sports teams.

Wrote about everything from prep sports to the pros in the LA area, including the Rams and Raiders, Clippers, and a horse race or two.

In what was basically a paid internship, I wrote mostly about area high school sports. The highlight was a July 4, 1986 cover story on Jai Alai in Tijuana, just below a Jim Murray column.
