About Rob Mitchell

I am the CEO of FT Longitude, a specialist Thought Leadership agency that I co-founded in 2011. In 2018, the Financial Times acquired a majority stake in the business, and as of January 2022 we are now a fully owned subsidiary of the FT group. I have led many consulting engagements and projects with global multinational brands, and I also write and speak regularly around the world on content strategy, thought leadership and maximising the return from marketing investments.Prior to co-founding Longitude in 2011, I was a managing editor at the Economist Intelligence Unit for four years. Prior to that, I edited sponsored reports at the Financial Times, including the Mastering Management series.More recently I have been appointed as a Board Advisor for SG Analytics, a global data and analytics business.
