Head of team responsible for strategy and delivery of UK international green finance and carbon markets objectives. This includes oversight of:- UK voluntary carbon market policy, including engagement and response to global integrity initiatives and development of consultation on UK public policy interventions.- Delivery of international aspects of UK Green Finance Strategy and geo-political analysis and strategy for greening international financial systems, including implications for UK technical assistance and climate diplomacy.- Team management for delivery of UK international carbon market negotiations in UNFCCC and ICAO/IMO and c. £200m in HMG investments in international carbon funds.

Policy advice, appraisal, analysis and ministerial briefing within HMT's Energy, Environment & Agriculture team, aimed at securing optimal value for money for the UK's energy and climate priorities. HMT lead on energy markets and innovation.I also provide input into broader HMT energy and climate strategy, and have led delivery of energy components in international economic and financial dialogues.
