•Developed new curriculum and testing database to establish Personnel Qualifications Standards (PQS) for Expeditionary Warfare Specialist.•Responsible for all Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E) accountability, Quality Assurance, handling, storage, transportation, and usage in accordance with all governing explosive safety laws, policies, regulations/standards, operational directives and methodologies.•Extensive knowledge of explosives safety guidelines as related to physical security, ordnance storage, and inventory accuracy. Re-wrote existing Standard Operating Procedures and rectified accountability, procedural and managerial errors resulting in full compliance with explosive safety inspection criteria.•Organized, maintained and equipped two SEAL Troops and 85 support personnel with 2,360 pieces of serial tracked gear valued over 5.6 million dollars with 100 percent accuracy for two major overseas deployments and numerous national and international training exercises.•Coordinated the site approval for two Ready Service Lockers for mission essential quantities of 1.4 type ammunition with the Explosive Safety Officer which greatly enhanced the commands ability to sustain war fighting skills with live fire ammunition by decreasing delivery wait time from 30 days to immediate ready for issue on site.
