Additional responsibilities with managing the day to the day running of the operational aspects of an online retail business such as HR issues, working with couriers for goods out, performance reporting and financial reconciliation whilst still encompassing my original duties as the business's systems and multichannel manager.

Managing, maintaining and implementing physical and virtual IT Infrastructure. This included internal/external connectivity, file servers, VoIP systems and integrations of Office 365 email systems and all technical aspects and managing upgrades of our websites and hosted virtual servers for running dedicated software for stock holding, sales and production aspects of the businesses day to day operations. This would often involve working with several external parties and suppliers such as Openreach when working with and upgrading our leased line circuit. In addition to which, I was always on hand to resolve internet and technical issues that would occasionally arise in high pressure situations where financial impacts were a factor. Another role I handled during this time was working with our external Web Development agency, coming up with new ideas to forward the company and better optimise what we already had. I was also responsible for testing of many new features and bug reporting issues back to them for correction and modification prior to deployment in a Magento e-commerce environment. In addition to which I also had technical oversight to other departments such as customer service and marketing to gain valuable feedback from customers and team members. This would help to form a general direction of where our website and systems should progress to get the most revenue and value for money commercially.
