An experienced HR manager with excellent inter-personal skills combining extensive experience of delivering a strategic and operational HR service, combined with a passion of helping others achieve their very best through focused coaching, learning and development and talent initiatives. In many ways 2021 was a really special year in terms of closing out long term projects. I concluded the closure of GKN Aerospace's Kings Norton site and played a significant part in facilitating the sale of Wrexham AFC to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. I am now looking for the next challenge.I worked at GKN Aerospace as HR Manager at the Kings Norton site for over four years dealing with restructuring and ultimately closing the site at the end of the 2021. The site closure was a difficult assignment, the management team performed exceptionally well to close the site whilst continuing to meet customer demand. We achieved very significant levels of outplacement for all staff. I remained with GKN Aerospace until May 2022 in an interim role. In addition to my Kings Norton role throughout 2021 I delivered GKN's management training programme (Set4Success), both virtually and face to face: I delivered around 60 modules. I have an excellent understanding regulatory and legal frameworks in which complex businesses operate. I have significant experience of dealing with complex restructuring processes and managing significant change.I have developed extremely effective coaching and training skills and am able to deliver training and coaching on a wide range of HR related topics including performance management, taxation, GDPR, employment relations and employment law.I am also Vice President of Wrexham AFC now a purely honorary title. I spent 8 very demanding months in 2020 and 2021 helping with the sale of the club to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. It was a an honour to be part of a team of volunteers who ran the club for nearly 10 years and then delivered it safely into the hands of new community focused owners with the resources to deliver the vision.
