My goal when I first joined TXM Group was to create a brand new Automotive division for the business, and within 12 months I achieved this goal. I was immediately promoted into the position of Senior Consultant where my activities included niche engineering recruitment coupled with new business development. At the start of 2012 I was promoted to Divisional Manager where I continued to work closely on new business, sales, developing relationships with existing customers, and the recruitment of the best global engineers for my growing portfolio of high end engineering clients. In 2013 I was promoted to Account Manager for my main Formula 1 client, and made responsible for delivery of their latest projects including account management and global recruitment delivery across all Manufacturing, Production, Build, Test and Inspection positions.At the start of 2016 I was promoted into the role of Head Of Engineering for TXM Group and Account Director for the same Formula 1 client. I was responsible for the recruitment delivery across all their departments including Concept, Design, Simulation, FMEA, Quality, Programme Management, Manufacturing, Production, Build, Test, Inspection, Supply Chain, Logistics and Facilities.This included account management, client development, project management, recruitment planning and scheduling, talent pooling, talent mapping, candidate attraction, team leading, mentoring, negotiations, and the day to day management of all contractors on site.

After a 5 year engineering apprenticeship at Hydrafeed, I qualified as a Mechanical Engineer. My initial work within the business revolved around the concept, design, development and release of complex engineered products that were both designed and manufactured from the UK Head Office in Milton Keynes.In 2002 I progressed into the role of Manufacturing Engineer within the business, where I was the direct interface between design, quality, engineering, production and test. This involved continually looking at ways to reduce cost and production times, improving manufacturing methods, product design, and general productivity across the cells.I was then promoted to Business Manager in 2006. This role saw me overseeing the account management of our global client base; namely the biggest machine tool manufacturers in the industry that included Yamazaki, Mori Seiki, Nakamura, Haas, Okuma, Doosan and Hyundai, whilst also helping to develop a new portfolio of engineering clients around the world. Furthermore I was regularly involved in the on-going design and development of new peripheral engineering products for the business.During my time with Hydrafeed, I helped the company capture 90% of the UK market in its sector, resulting in a substantial increase in both new business, and international growth. When I left in 2010 to pursue a career in engineering recruitment, the company was exporting products to over 25 countries around the world, whilst remaining at number one in the UK for its product specifics.
