This has led to volleyball being regarded as one of the top five participation sports offers at University.• Further Education – Working in conjunction with AOC Sport I have joined the strategic development and communication of the national further education offer to colleges. This evolving offer is designed to be adaptable to suit the ever-changing landscape of further education. This has contributed toward volleyball being the 4th most played team sport in colleges.• Schools – Being a very under-represented area in the sport I am leading the schools review and development strategy. Within the 2024 strategy we aim to offer volleyball to 60% of primary schools and 70% of secondary schools. The project will encompass resource development, workforce development and a strong route to market.• UK Sport International Relations – After obtaining funding from UK Sport to support the National Associations of Namibia and Zambia I will be project managing a 2 year programme to upskill the nations. Key highlights include:• Independently creating a new further education volleyball strategy and framework which has been adopted by Volleyball England on a national level and delivered across the country.• Significantly exceeding national targets in all five areas of work (adult participation, satellite clubs, further education, higher education and sitting volleyball).• Generating over £65,000 external investment within 12 months through creating 35 new individual projects; this has significantly exceeded revenue generation targets and trebled delivery budget in 2014/15.• Managing an annual revenue budget of approximately £50,000 to achieve targets set by the Volleyball England Strategic Plan.• Creating the first regional coach education calendar consisting of 15 courses over a season, demonstrating a 500% increase in courses from the previous year. The role included chairing monthly meetings and planning, monitoring and evaluating their individual work programmes to ensure a successful contribution to the overall development plans.• Management of many funded projects in association with key strategic partner organisations.• Created and established a variety of low participation sports at PCSA including: a summer touch rugby league (12 teams), a winter indoor cricket league (18 teams) and junior netball league (8 teams) within 6 months.• Established and coordinated a range of yearly competitions, notably a curriculum (U10-U18) futsal competition from district to regional level engaging over 100 school teams from across the South West. This resulting is leagues consisting of 120 teams playing on a weekly basis and was achieved from conception within 3 years.• Outreach to a wide range of low participation users including: 60+ walking football and 11-18 social inclusion sessions. • Policy setting and establishment of quarterly targets and reviews.• Management of revenue budgets to enable the facility to become self-sufficient.
