Email is a fascinating area of digital marketing - few other avenues allow you to communicate directly with users with such a wealth of personalisation options open to you. Yet it is still rarely done with the perfect combination of content, timing and presentation. The latter is where my team come in; we elevate our clients emails above the noise of busy inbox chatter. This is not just about making emails work in all browsers and email clients, it’s about causing people to stop and take notice, to want to interact, to recognise the brand they are familiar with but to understand the message and the expectation with as little effort as possible and to commit to the journey.I am still very much hands on with both the design and development, providing full training in both areas to my team as well as external clients. Following the successful implementation of Sitecore as a content management system, Dyson looked to move the day-to-day running of the local websites into the markets. While there were huge benefits to this plan, there were concerns regarding the integrity of the brand and releasing control of the content of the sites to the local teams. I was asked to move to Chicago and run the day-to-day production of digital output for the US market.
