Founder and director of Inside the Zone Sports Performance Group. As a mental training coach, I work with athletes and teams from junior players to professionals in all sports. I specialize in helping them overcome performance blocks such as nerves, yips, anxiety, and slumps.My non-judgmental manner and unique “inside-out” approach encourages empowerment, responsibility and trust. My focus is on the athlete as a person first and I recognize the strength of being “more” than an athlete. Through this lens, I am able to help athletes be their best version of themselves both on and off the field.I have spoken and presented workshops internationally in India and Israel as well as nationally at USTA, USPTA, ITA, and NJSIAA conferences. I teach a Masters level Sport Psychology class at Division 1 Seton Hall University. I also lead a weeklong workshop at the Omega Institute called Tennis Inside the Zone and have also presented Unleashing the Performer Within.I am the author of Tennis Inside the Zone: 32 mental training workouts for champions. Additionally, academy award winning producer Alex Gibney and ESPN sports teamed up to create a 30 for 30 documentary called Fields of Fears which highlights my and my colleague's work with Mackey Sasser, a major league baseball player. Education & Certifications:~Masters degree in psychological studies with a concentration in sport and exercise psychology from Seton Hall University (SHU) ~Certification in sport psychology from SHU. ~Undergraduate BA from Tulane University. ~Certified professional/life coach from IPEC, an international federation coaching affiliate. ~Received certification from Jim Loehr’s Mental Toughness Program~Received certifications in Somatic Experiencing, Focusing, and Mindfulness for Teens.
