Robert S. Poydasheff is a native of Columbus, Georgia, where he graduated high school from Brookstone School. He earned his Political Science Degree from the Citadel in 1983 and immediately entered the University Of Georgias Lumpkin School Of Law, where in 1986 he earned his Juris Doctor.Rob began his legal career as a JAG officer in the United States Army, where he ultimately held various positions from Family Law Officer to Trial Defense Services (criminal defense).Following his service in the United States Army, Rob returned to Columbus where he worked for 19 plus years as a commercial lender, lending and underwriting complex commercial transactions. In addition, he founded and managed a commercial leasing group for a regional banking group, founded and managed the commercial mortgage and securitization desk and was a Senior Vice President Risk Manager. He has a deep knowledge in all banking matters including complex loan workouts. Rob has entertainment law experience through his role as general counsel for Fun Academy Media Group, LTD and Fun Academy Studios, inc. He is well versed in writing and negotiating contracts with actors and distributers both domestic and foreign, SAG-AFRA, and is extremely knowledgeable proficient in all aspects of the movie industry.Rob has an extensive background in contract drafting and negotiations, including construction contracts.
