No 2 people learn the same and this is important in any part of teaching/coaching, this has been apparent my whole life as being dyslexic I struggle with every day learning and had to find ways around learning that would make it easier for me to retain the information.I trained as a chef when I first left school for 4 years and I worked my way up in the company I worked for a was a Area chef overseeing 12 or so kitchens and doing training sessions for the kitchen teams, this was where I come across different people that all learnt things in different ways so I would have to tailor things to make things easier for them, from this I moved onto pre opening coach going round all the sites around the uk and holding training sessions, this also involved tailoring sessions to other people needs.I made a giant step in my life a decided to go back into education and retrain, as I was always a sporty person and wanted to get back to playing rugby that my previous job had prevented me from continuing. While I was at university I got back into playing and also started my coaching journey. This is where I come across more people that struggle where others found it easy and it made me feel a sense of passion to help and show them things but in a different way that might be easier for them but if it wasnt finding away that did make it easier for them, this made me fall in love with coaching as I seen it as away of giving back.Along my journey I was working in a SEND unit with some great children which was great and pushed me harder as each child had there own needs and struggles that I had to work around to find the best way for them to learn, within the same school I started off teaching a few P.E lesson which then ended up progressing onto me becoming a full time sports coach at the school. This is where I am up to in my journey but along the way I have been asked what Is my moto, coaching philosophy and I would have to say anything is possible it just needs to be adapted to away that works for you as an individual but also as a team and once you've found your way anything is possible.
