Primarily with a background in technology within the online marketing and affiliate industry, I have a keen interest in all aspects of online behaviour and business. I'm interested in the initial user experience and user flow, to data sanitisation and validation and data analysis. I relish a challenge and enjoy transforming client side facing branding and interaction, and also internal policies and systems. Having worked for both in-house development teams and on my own over the years including managing multiple projects; I have a unique insight into the various roles and strengths that technology can play within a business' growth and performance.My skills range from front-end technology such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Photoshop to back end technology such as PHP, Laravel, MySQL and some knowledge of Docker and Redis. I'm mainly using Linux for the platform and have experience with Apache and some knowledge of Nginx. Git is my current VCS of choice. Previously I've worked on Conversion Rate Optimisation, looking at user behaviour as well as various marketing and management strategies with the aim of being able to combine all of these skills to provide efficient and well informed approaches to implementation and improvement within a related problem space. I also have experience in the past with running successful paid search and social campaigns. In addition, I've managed multiple affiliates for projects which involved analysing performance and onboarding new affiliates and providing any technical assistance needed. I'm familiar with affiliate tracking software such as Tune and have also built bespoke tracking solutions previously. I've previously attended various conferences such as Affiliate World with the aim of obtaining new business and contacts which was very enjoyable.
