He continued these winning results as the leader of one of DEC’s largest sales organizations where he developed a unit solely focused on supporting major prime contractors bidding extremely large government IT programs from C3I to NASA programs. In addition, he led the development and implementation of the first yearly sales and sales support-training program, which ensured continuous improvement in sales and technical skills. From 1998 through 2002, Rob led a diversification effort at CSC to penetrate and expand into then growing marketplaces of Telecom and the rapidly expanding dot.com markets. These efforts lead by Rob were most successful and resulted in growing revenue over 2 years from 0 to $3M. In late 2000, he moved to the Federal Division as a high level consultant charged with leveraging CSC “e” business experience to bring to bear commercial eBusiness best practices in wining a major government program. Rob’s efforts were successful in enabling the win of the first “e” Business opportunity for a central data exchange (CDX) program at EPA worth $80M in early 2002. Rob followed these successful efforts at USIS where he was charged with and developed an end-to-end business development process. In turn, he ensured the implementation of this end-to- end business development process, which was a major contributor to increasing the win rate from ~10% to 40% in 2.5 years.
