The Product / Lifecycle Management & Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the improvement of the firms IT solutions by identifying and delivering product enhancements. The role will also be responsible for supporting the Team Leader by overseeing the product lifecycle management processes and ensuring and project management practices are embedded in the team.

LJS is a locally developed application used to manage the JIT (Just in Time) process at the manufacturing plant. It involves taking customer data and translating outputs to support the specific process of the plant, integration with other systems, and validation of data as well as poke yoke scanning of the shipping process.RESPONSIBILITIES• Provide second level support of existing LJS installations worldwide• Perform technical analysis of identified problems through to resolution working closely with the Plant.• Perform testing of LJS enhancements prior to delivery to Plant.• Plan and implement LJS projects worldwide • Responsible for assisting the location IT manager in planning implementation/upgrading of LJS projects and Working with colleagues and end users to implement LJS system components.• Responsible for coordinating and monitoring multiple LJS projects ensuring company resources are utilized appropriately.• Interact with senior internal and external personnel.• SQL management and monitoring of issues, functions and performance though T-SQL , Profiler and other SQL features.• Using SQL Stored procedures and Functions to develop solutions within the application framework to support the local plant requirements.• Providing plant and senior management with reports and data through SSRS or using SQL views within the application to provide in application information and displaying data through our dashboard application.ACHIEVEMENTS• Upgrades of the application with the UK/Europe to support new functionality requested from the plant and required by the customer• Installation of the application in multiple locations in APO region (India, China, Thailand, Malaysia) as well as Central and South America

RESPONSIBILITIES • Desktop support for users Running Windows and Office XP/2000, with Windows Server 2000 & 2003.• Supporting end users issues with Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, Lotus Notes and Symantec Anti-Virus.• Supporting Production ERP Systems (MfgPro), In House UNIX System (JTDS) and SQL 2000 Server.• Assisting, where possible, with Central Finical systems (i.e. SAP, Hyperion (Citrix Based Application))• Maintaining and configuring the WAN/LAN Network (Cisco Based)• Maintaining and Managing the Phone (Telecommunications) Systems • additional exposure to Microsoft Outlook, McAfee Antivirus and SQL 2005 based production system, which replaced the old systems and programsACHIEVEMENTS• On time delivery of migration for Financial and Purchasing System from Existing local MfgPro System to a Centrally Maintained SAP System – Project “Genesis”• Assisting with the Lotus Notes Upgrade from Notes 5 to notes 6• Supporting the Standardisation and Database Migration of MfgPro to a Central Server.• Assisting with the incoming transfer of products and systems from other sites, and assisting with closing down and outgoing transfers to other facilities and Companies.• Handling the transfer of business and replacement of IT equipment and infrastructure to Lear and dealing with the closure and transfer of business to other facilities within JCA.
