As the CEO/Executive Director, I oversaw all facilities and day-to-day operations. I led a team of 4 full-time & 56 part-time staff. I was responsible for the preparation and management of the association budget where I directed an increase in association revenues by 26% and cut expenses by 6% for 3 consecutive years. I organized and led the annual sustaining campaign that exceeded goal each year and increased annual support contributions by 183%. I recruited & trained Board Members, Committee Members and staff. I delivered guidance to the Membership Department that led to an increase of 39% in membership and directed an increase in aquatic program revenue of 245% and a 62% increase in childcare revenue. Additionally, I volunteered with multiple community initiatives to promote health and well-being.

As the Program Director, I was responsible for planning, organizing and implementing all programs for a brand-new YMCA. Programs included Childcare Programs, Summer Camp, Before/After School program, Youth and Adult Sports Camps and Leagues, Aquatic programs, Fitness programs and Family programs. I worked closely with the CEO in the construction of the new 36,500 sq.ft. YMCA. I also helped develop a regional youth tackle football program for 3rd to 6th grade students. Additionally, I collaborated with the NFL and the Chicago Bears hosting the PPK Team Championships in Chicago each year for 6 years. And, I served as our associations Interim Business Director from Oct’04 to Jan ’05.
