He began his broadcasting career as an on air personality, music and program director.He thrived as an advertising account executive and has extensive sales and sales management experience. He was local sales manager for the first duopoly in the United States WAPE\WFYV(The Big Ape and Rock 105)Through creative thinking he developed and executed hundreds of successful advertising, marketing and promotional campaigns for the smallest mom & pop businesses to national corporations like: Nabisco, M&M Mars, Maxwell House, Kawasaki, McDonalds, NASCAR, Daytona International Speedway, and General Motors. He worked with many ad agencies over the years representing local and regional companies like Publix, the Florida Lottery, and Chevy DealersRob was one of the first Retail Marketing Specialist in the U.S. and a graduate of RAB (Radio Advertising Bureau) University.While Local and General sales manager for radio broadcast companies he recruited hired and trained many account executives and helped them reach their individual goals of success and collective goals as sales teams.
