Created and managed all school programs nationwide. Worked with over 60 high schools in 11 states and 19 cities to integrate the HealthCorps program into each unique school setting. Supervised the regional education teams and 60 school coordinators.● Developed recruiting process and selection criteria. Collaborated with over 150 colleges and universities to build recruiting pipelines and interest in health service. Recruited, interviewed, and hired all regional leadership and coordinators.● Developed HealthCorps curriculum to address three core components of health: mental resilience, nutrition, and physical fitness. The curriculum serves as the foundation for all HealthCorps programming in classrooms, after- school programs, and community activism.● Created and directed the annual five-week intensive summer training program, conducted by a staff of 20 instructors, coordinators, and health professionals. The training program prepares coordinators to navigate the obstacles and opportunities of creating authentic communities of health in schools.● Directed yearlong efficacy study with Affinity Health Plan involving 1000 New York City public school students in 10 public high schools in NYC. Results demonstrated that as a result of the HealthCorps intervention students decreased their consumption of soda, increased their physical activity and increased their nutritional knowledge.● Managed nationwide community partnerships to optimize the impact of preventative health and education in each HealthCorps community. Selected organizations include: Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Management of Department of Health (NY,NJ,CA), Department of Education (NY), Alliance for a Healthier Generation and other community based organizations.
