  My role within the organisation involves the development of Instructional Design materials using a range of software, including Adobe Captivate, for NHS eLearning projects such as ICE EDS (Electronic Discharge Summary) / TAeR (Time, Attendance and eRostering) staff training / ESR (Electronic Staff Records) training / Silverlink PAS / MedChart (ePMA) training (part of Northumbria's Digital Care programme - i.e. eMeds and Nervecentre) and numerous other staff training projects that have utilised a Blended eLearning approach.For example, the eLearning materials that I developed to enable the successful delivery of ESR training for approximately 3,000 staff at Northumbria Healthcare were also used by a further twenty NHS Trusts across the UK.I developed our in-house eLearning training solution using Adobe Captivate that is being used in the delivery of MedChart (ePMA) training across the whole of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as the primary method of teaching prescriber, nursing and pharmacy staff how to safely use the system.In addition to eLearning development, I have developed traditional and inovative staff training materials for use across numerous Business and Clinical IT projects such as SMARTBank, EDS, SCR, PAS, TAeR, etc. within Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. I also developed training materials used by our team for the successful roll-out of new systems such as HealthRoster and PAS ECDS. I also created the guidance material for staff that will assist the implementation of the Trust's new Active Directory Self Service initiative.As well as developing resources, my role as an Application/IT and Clinical Systems Trainer means that I deliver face-to-face staff training across the Trust to a diverse range of NHS staf in both Business and Clinical systems. Subjects include Micorsoft Office packages, PAS and SystmOne.
