A civil engineer with broad experience and knowledge of engineering, contract, commercial and project management within the construction, O&G, energy and offshore engineering sectors. Qualified and experienced as a Chartered Civil Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers, I have further developed my career in the field of commercial and contract management resulting in a strong all-round competency and capability, working toward a Masters degree in construction law and membership of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.My roles involves pre-, intra and post-contract services; working with contractor and client organisations to ensure successful project commercial outcomes at all stages of delivery. Such services include risk processes and strategy, contract review and drafting, contract and change management, programme management, complex claim governance, drafting/management/advice, dispute resolution.Areas of experience include: O&G, process plants (including EfW), offshore engineering (inc. drilling, structures, sub-sea cables, etc.), energy (inc. transmission and offshore wind), structures (RC and steel), hospitals, commercial. Technical areas of expertise include temporary works and reinforced concrete defects.Specialties include: - Claim management including delay, disruption and quantum analysis;- Dispute resolution; including negotiating settlement, mediation, adjudication- Expert witness; assisting lead appointed expert on several occasions as quantum expert- Civil engineering project, cost and programme management;
