Responsible for the maintenance of Midland’s equipment and facilities. Providing strategic leadership and guidance to asset management, facilities maintenance, and support teams across the organization. Also responsible to oversee project management of renovations, capital improvement projects, and business plans related to assets and infrastructure.

Senior Project Director working in the Corporate Engineering Group. Currently responsible to oversee various workstreams as we build our new Cavendish Farms Plant in Lethbridge, Alberta. Workstreams include Project Controls, Engineering, IT, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning.

- Responsible for working with all of our sites within JDIrving Ltd Moncton companies (Cavendish, Irving Tissue, Midland and Irving Personal Care) to ensure we are attaining and maintaining world class maintenance and engineering systems and standards. - work directly with the various sites maintenance and engineering teams to establish permanent processes, identify best practices and develop verification methods that assure us of having company wide world class reliability and engineering programs now and into the future.

- Responsible to ensure all Cavendish Sites are working towards world class maintenance and engineering systems- Coordinated and developed corporate capital engineering project process flow - Facilitating standardization between sites through defining maintenance process maps/models to drive accountability and repeatability of work- Internal and External Benchmarking of programs to understand where there are gaps in our maintenance systems and programs and work with each site to create improvement plans- Worked with sites to setup standard maintenance Key Performance Indicator (KPI) measurements- Working with Engineering and Maintenance Managers and their teams at each site to drive continuous improvement- Driving standardization of equipment and parts throughout the site engineering projects- Maintain corporate list of each sites capital projects and 3 year capital plan and work to prioritize projects between sites- Involved with long term strategic planning in conjunction with other members of the operations leadership team- Coordinating capital projects with the Irving Group Moncton corporate engineering team- Conduct and organize Monthly Maintenance/Engineering review meetings to open up communication between sites - Responsible for maintenance and engineering transitions of new plants/assets- Ongoing education through tradeshows, seminars and plant tours to ensure we are aware of new equipment and technology that is available

- Responsible for directing the maintenance and engineering functions at Brunswick News Facility (JDIrving Company) along with continuing to manage Irving Group Moncton engineering projectsBrunswick News:- Responsible for Maintenance Manager with a team of technicians and equipment/facility cleaners working onsite- Worked with team to drive maintenance optimization through building of our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) in regards to preventative maintenance tasks and spare parts optimization- Developed and maintained 3 year capital plan- Planning and coordinating engineering projects with corporate engineering team- Worked closely with operations team to drive innovation and improvement with the production equipment- Worked closely with operations team to reduce plant maintenance downtimeIrving Group Moncton:- Responsible to manage Irving Group Moncton Engineering projects with responsibilities as noted in previous engineering project manager role listed below

This includes managing the project through the steps of Preliminary budget, AFE Estimate, Design, Install, Startup and Closeout.- Responsibilities within the project included (but not limited to):Develop budget, schedule, scope, process flow, detailed design and drawingsInteract with various departments that are impacted by plant to ensure the best solution and design is being engineered- Ensure various options are researched and reviewed for equipment, processes, etc- Determine how automation can be included in the project- Coordinate and manage consultants and contractors- Recommend equipment for purchase- Conduct meetings and coordinate communication between team members- Safety of equipment design and of the working team- Supervise installation of equipment- Tracking of project details to ensure milestones and targets are met
