User interface was web-based using Python, Flask, Paramiko, and websockets. • Assembled a multi-cellular-node mesh network simulation environment using VirtualBox instances of Debian Linux. The focus was route management when LTE base-stations are on portable platforms and are moving in relation to each other and have encrypted LTE channels between nodes. • Developed a Linux and Python-based drone test platform that could be flown around a cell tower to measure beamforming and antenna performance, with a web-based user interface and a PyQt backend for real-time graphics. • Used Open Air Interface, UERANSIM, srsRAN, and Magma cellular protocol suites for development and testing. Researched using an embedded ARM CPU for a Magma Access Gateway. • Brought-up the Docker development environment for a cellular baseband processor Phy layer with 32 RISC-V cores and three CEVA DSPs, along with an NXP LS1046 processor for the L2/L3 gNodeB processes. • Created a multi-site test network using VPNs, ssh tunnels, and iptables rules. • Mentored junior engineers in Python and test development.
