From there I moved into the microelectronics sector focusing on systems and software for Set-Top-Boxes and latterly embedded security and content protection. Though I am fundamentally a technologist and have expertise in software and hardware design, I also have experience in requirements gathering and analysis, specification negotiation, customer and 3rd party interfacing, development and support, team management, project management, process and procedures, commercial and licensing including projects bids, liabilities and responsibilities, market placement, industry trends and industry standards.
