ASSET: Americans Standing for the Simplifcation of the Estate Tax is a grass roots non-profit organization dedicted to changing the collection methodology for the estate tax.After the 2009 success in getting legislation passed on behalf of auto dealers ASSET was created to coordinate the grassroots network developed across the United States that was broadened to include private business owners, farmers, ranchers and their employees. By leading ASSET's strategic plan we are able to help broaden the policy work of tax reform to include the estate tax that impacts jobs and small businesses. I am responsible for the Strategic direction and growth of the organization and have lead policy briefings on Capitol Hill and with think tanks. Grassroots work continues across the country while legislation is drafted to be introduced in the 2015 Congress.
