The decades of my adult life have each held their own themes which have led me to the position I am in today, which will no doubt continue to develop and present themselves as each new decade enters the picture. In the 20s, the theme was "Trial and Error". The push to try new things for me was my interest in doing stand-up comedy, improvisation, and acting. Some success, and many errors, but meaningful and exciting nonetheless. It was also the beginning of being a husband and understanding the need to provide, which lead to early sales careers. The theme in the 30s was "Commitment and Success". Beginning a family and committing to a career in sales with the need to succeed to provide for the family was paramount. Then having a second child with a disability proved the need for those themes even more. With the 40s came the theme of "Purpose and Passion". The sales career was going well, but now I was being called to do more. I remembered comedy and performing while experiencing a new and amazing community in the non-profit and disability space, both fueling my passions and providing me with a purpose. This manifested itself in building a non-profit, public speaking, writing a book, and developing an innovation for workforce development for those with developmental disabilities. And now, as I enter the 50s, the theme seems to be "Fulfillment and Wisdom". This has taken me to the road of making sure my choices in life and work lead me to being fulfilled, and that I am able to apply my years of experience and any wisdom I have gained towards that choice. Whether I am growing a non-profit, leading a sales team, finding new innovations for the disability community, or just spending time with my family, fulfillment is now the focus, and a must for whatever comes next.

In 2019, we cast the world's first all Down syndrome improvisation troupe, The Improvaneers, and by 2020 we formed The Improvaneer Method and were teaching over 500 participants each week either.
