I began my working life as an apprentice metal machinist at BREL in York. After completion of my apprenticeship I spent time in the design drawing office before leaving to take up a new and exciting position with a local non-ferrous investment casting company to be a part of a new venture into machining of castings. My role developed through Design Draughtsman, Senior Production Engineer, Chief Estimator, Sales Engineer and finally European Sales Manager. I continued my technical sales role within this industry for other companies in UK and America before taking up senior sales roles in the plastic moulding industry.In a change of direction, I made the move to the card and paper craft industry having been offered a senior sales position, followed by freelance roles in b2b and b2c sales and web design, before joining a UK based packaging company, specifically involved with website design and the creation of custom packaging artwork.KEY SKILLS.
