I have been in the maritime industry for 17 years. I started out as a Port Mechanic and quickly changed my career direction and focused on quality and safety of operations. I have been supporting implementation of many programs for nationwide companies.I have been involved in all aspects of an HSQE certified company including but not limited to; Internal/external auditing, vessel inspection, facility inspection, casualty investigation using ABS Root Cause Analysis, environmental response, spill preparedness, management of change, management review, objectives and targets decision making and tracking, metric tracking and trending, and customer relations.I have acted as company DPA, CSO, and FSO. Working closely with all levels of the company to continue a very successful operation. Integral part of the creation of a Safety Incentive Program to increase safety awareness and openness that can be difficult to obtain.I am an effective communicator from top management to the entry level employee. My main focus is a drive to have all level of employees understand the goal and the plan to achieve that goal.
