- Hardware high-level synthesis toolchain, XLS. In particular, native-code JIT compiler and runtime, formal verification (front-end-language-to-netlist and more), and front-end language feature development. - Low-level SW support for novel accelerators: userspace libraries, kernel drivers, and firmware. - Senior language, runtime and support infrastructure for GPUs, TPUs, and other accelerators.

Monitoring and administering Google's production infrastructure and services for Google+. - Serve as on-call to triage and assist in repair during outages. - Advise and support new services entering production. - Identify opportunities for automation and improvement of existing production infrastructure.

Software architecture/design and engineering for HPC/multicore systems.- Team lead/lead engineer for front-end tools (launchers, schedulers, FE/BE interface, etc.) for the Cyclops-64 supercomputer. Contributed to custom network protocol and several C64 kernel components.- Developer for OpenCL extensions/support for SWARM task-based dataflow runtime system. Presented at AFDS '12.- Team lead for development of static dataflow-based runtime for 16-core Adapteva Epiphany processor.- Performed initial bring-up of our internal environment on TI C6678 multicore DSP.
